If you often work with files, then sooner or later you get tired at the opening, maintaining "rummaged" through the directories in the dialog boxes, looking for the desired folder. Unfortunately Mac OS often default to completely the wrong folder that we need, and if the requested directory is not stored on the system partition, but still not in the primary directory or a network directory ...

After installing the program is written in the "System Preferences" and integrated into dialogs Cocoa applications. At the next attempt anything open / save, you find dramatic changes in the appearance of dialog boxes.

 
Additional menu allows a couple of clicks go to the desired folder, add a comment / tags to the file, rename, delete, create an archive, change permissions, view the properties and much more - a complete control over the files, without the help of Finder. The most important, perhaps, is the possibility of a choice of default folder for your application.
Now you can specify which folder the application will be open by default, change the folder will not be difficult, it is done in the settings.

 
There is a possibility to assign a shortcut folder favorites but this application is able to distinguish between open Finder window under the "layers" of active applications and when clicked will automatically substitute the directory dialog box.

 
In the settings it is possible to disable the Default Folder X works for certain programs, as well as, you can choose one of three available design options.
